Poppin Blog Cherries

I'm taking the dive into online un-anonymity. I've been reading a lot of blogs lately and trying to get my motivation on. It's working, thus far. However after a conversation with a friend I've decided that I'm going to also attempt to be my own motivation!

I'm a 28 year old chickie from Melbourne, Australia. I'm trying to lose weight. Again. I'm sure i'll write more about the 'again' some other time (that's what blogs are for right?). Also i'm moving over to the good old United Kingdom in 4 months. Basically i'm unraveling my life so I can jaunt about the world and while I do it I want to be fit, healthy, trim and... bugger it... I wanna be fan-freakin-tastic!

So I figure I'm going to share the ride with you all (or none of you all) depending on how this goes. Smiles.

I have no idea what I'm doing right now. I'm thinking, to make a bloomin' great blog, I need these things:

Pictures (I always like the blogs with lots of photos better)
A laptop
The motivation to get on this thing at least twice a week and write something interesting

So far i've got one of those down. So in the next week i'll be looking for the cable to link my camera up to the computer and a new cable and battery pack for my dusty old laptop.

Until then I'll leave this quote, which I think sums me up pretty well at this time of my life:

Now good old Marilyn would have finished that line with the words "an actress". I'm not going to do that... and right now I don't know how to finish that quote to make it 'all about me' but i'm looking forward to figuring it out!
